Since I am fortunate enough to be able to draw realistic looking house renderings by hand, I was a bit reluctant to use computer aided drawing programs when they first came about. I felt that it didn't take any drawing skill to use one of these programs, it just took computer skills.  Over the years I have learned that it takes a good mix of computer, design and drawing skills to produce realistic and pleasing results from a computer aided drawing program.

In 2006 I began using Chief Architect Home Designer software while I was working for a Design - Build company in South Bend, IN.  Since that time I have truly enjoyed drawing via computer as the results that can be produced are amazing.  I currently use Chief Architect Home Designer Architectural 2017 software for my drawings.
